Ezra Miller, who plays Barry Allen on “The Flash,” has revealed that he and his family are receiving help for “complicated mental health concerns.”
Miller has broken their silence about the worrisome behavior that they have exhibited over the past several years, which has led to a series of legal troubles as well as assault and abuse charges, in a statement that was supplied to Variety by a representative of the actor.
Miller has also expressed regret for their behavior. Miller states, “Having just gone through a moment of tremendous stress, I have finally come to the realization that I am suffering from significant mental health difficulties, and I have begun continuing treatment.”
“I want to apologize to everyone that my previous behavior has startled and upset. Please accept my sincere apologies.
I am determined to put in the effort that is required of me in order to reach a point in my life that is productive, fulfilling, and healthy.
The actor, who is non-binary and utilizes they and their pronouns, portrayed the DC Comics character Barry Allen in both the 2017 film “Justice League” and the 2021 film “Zack Snyder’s Justice League.” Both films were directed by Zack Snyder.
Their off-screen behavior, which has disturbed friends and allies of the actor as well as Warner Bros., the studio that is behind “The Flash,” has eclipsed their role in the comic book franchise. This has caused concern among both parties.
