Perhaps Nadia and Alan will go Terminator and travel to the future to deliver a vital message from the past (or to investigate the drugs they’re using there). They might take a page from Back to the Future Part III and end up in the Wild West.

Perhaps they will follow the trend and delve deeply into the Multiverse, which was only briefly mentioned in Season 1. (between Doctor Strange and Everything Everywhere All At Once, this is having a moment).

Russian Doll Season 3

The third season of Russian Doll should center on the characters rather than any particular sci-fi plot device. Season 3 may not feature Elizabeth Ashley as Ruth because the motherly figure died. Season 2 saw some new faces join the Cast, but we don’t expect them to return because the stories were primarily set in the past.

Annie Murphy plays young Ruth, Chlo Sevigny portrays Nadia’s mother, Lenora Vulvokov, Carolyn Michelle Smith portrays Alan’s grandmother Agnes, and Sharlto Copley shows Leonora’s boyfriend Chez. Season 3 will almost certainly introduce new characters to the show.
