After missing his brother Ben Affleck‘s wedding to Jennifer Lopez in Georgia, Casey Affleck took to social media on Sunday night to extend a warm welcome to the family’s newest member, Jennifer Lopez.
Casey Affleck, who is now 47 years old, posted an old photo of himself, Jennifer Lopez, and Ben Affleck on Instagram with the caption, “Good things are worth waiting for.”
“Cheers to unexpected turns and twists, fresh starts, and the discovery of untapped wells of long-lost love!”
Ben Affleck, 50, and Jennifer Lopez, 53, sealed the knot for the second time on Saturday in front of a star-studded crowd at the actor’s huge 87-acre estate in Riceboro, Georgia, where the movie “Good Will Hunting” was filmed.
After getting married on the spur of the moment in Las Vegas roughly a month earlier, the couple held their reception in the state of Georgia over the course of a three-day weekend event.
In addition to the wedding itself took place on Saturday, the celebrations leading up to it included a welcome supper on Friday and a picnic on Sunday.
On the guest list were scores of celebrities, as well as members of his family and close friends, but Casey Affleck was conspicuously absent. Over the weekend, he stayed in Los Angeles, and on the morning of the ceremony, Page Six saw him making his way across the city on his way to get some coffee.
