Britney Spears‘s Instagram account was deleted just a few days before her collaboration with Sir Elton John on the song “Hold Me Closer” became available on streaming sites.
The singer who became famous for her hit “Oops!… I Did It Again” turned to Twitter to chat about her newly released song and how she feels about working with the legendary singer. She also revealed how she thinks about collaboration.
“Okie Dokie … my first song in over six years!!! Spears remarked on her Twitter account, “It’s pretty darn cool that I’m performing with one of the most legendary men of our time @eltonofficial.”
“I’m kinda overwhelmed… It is really significant to me!!! I’m practicing meditation more, and I’ve realized that my personal space is really valuable and priceless!!! Additionally, she said.
In a further tweet, “I’m learning every day is a blank slate to try to be a better person and do what makes me happy… yeah I chose happiness today,” the Princess of Pop stated.
“I tell myself every day to let go of the hurt and bitterness, and to attempt to forgive myself and others for what may have been harmful. I tell myself to let go of the anger and bitterness.
“I want to be fearless like I was when I was younger, and I don’t want to be as terrified and fearful as I am now. She went on to say, “I pray that there is truth to the Holy Spirit, and I hope that spirit is with my children as well!!!”
Spears concluded her series of tweets by announcing, “Yes… I chose happiness and joy today!!!”
Spears’ most recent song is an updated cover of Elton John’s popular number Tiny Dancer, which was first released in 1971. This song also serves as Spears’ first entry into the world of music after the conclusion of her conservatory training in 2021.
This is the first song that the woman who is a mother to two children has released since the release of her tune “Slumber Party,” which was a part of her album Glory, which was released in 2016.
