Euphoria Season 3 Release Date: Who is Going to Be in the Cast?
Euphoria season 3 was announced halfway through the second season, so fans’ only concern was the excellent show itself rather than its potential.
According to Francesca Orsi, vice president of HBO programming, Sam, Zendaya, and the entire cast and crew of Euphoria have raised the bar for season two while maintaining the show’s core values.
“We couldn’t be more excited to embark on our third season with this gifted, incredibly talented team,” the statement says. Casey Bloys, HBO’s chief content officer, previously admitted that the sexified high-school drama has a finite shelf life.
“I don’t think you want 30-year-olds playing [teenagers],” Bloys said (via TVLine). He also discussed whether Zendaya’s burgeoning career would affect her commitment to upcoming seasons. “I’ll let [executive producer Sam Levinson and Zendaya] talk about [that],” he said.
Despite mentioning the show’s impending finale, he is optimistic about its future. Bloys expressed his excitement about what Season 3 has in store for him.
“So I’ll delegate that to them. I’ll say that we have faith in the direction they’re taking these characters in general. As a result, we will defer to the creative team’s decision.”
We desperately need more memes of Sydney Sweeney’s Emmy-worthy performances, so hopefully, this isn’t the end of the road. So, here’s everything you need to know about Euphoria season 3.
Euphoria Season 3 Release Date: What Day Will Season 3 Be Released?
HBO has not announced a release date for Season 3 of Euphoria. The network has only officially announced the existence of the third season. Fans have predicted the release of Season 3, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
Zendaya spoke with Entertainment Tonight about a possible 2024 release date at the shows For Your Consideration event in April 2022. Given that 2022 is nearly half over, release date between late 2022 and early 2023 seems unlikely. Season 3 of the show has yet to begin filming.
“I believe that is correct.” I honestly don’t know. You could consult with some executives who are more knowledgeable than me. I’ll be busy for a while.
Despite the wait for season 3, fans will most likely not have to wait as long between seasons as they did between seasons 1 and 2. Season 1 debuted in June 2019, and season 2 debuted almost three years later, in January 2022, due to COVID-19 delays.
Seasons 2 and 3 will most likely be separated by two years. A trailer will most likely be released in 2023 when filming is expected to begin.

Euphoria Season 3 Cast: Who is Going to Be in the Cast?
This depends on how Euphoria season 2 plays out, but we anticipate that the main cast will return for more. In other words, we believe the following models will return –
- Zendaya as Rue
- Hunter Schafer as Jules
- Jacob Elordi as Nate
- Alexa Demie as Maddy
- Barbie Ferreira as Kat
- Angus Cloud as Fez
- Algee Smith as Chris
- Sydney Sweeney as assie
- Maude Apatow as Lexi
- Dominic Fike as Elliot
The vast majority of the supplementary cast and a few new characters are expected to appear in the third season. Since Fez was supposed to pass away at the end of season 1, we may say goodbye to one or more of our favorite characters when the show concludes its second season.
Euphoria Season 3 Plot: What’s the Story Going to Be About?
Euphoria filled the gap between seasons one and two with two special episodes. While COVID-related issues inspired these, the response was overwhelmingly positive, suggesting that more could be made to focus on different characters in the lead-up to season three.
Meanwhile, season three will continue to unravel the threads ripped apart by season two’s explosive finale.
Nate will have to deal with the consequences of sending his father to prison, Cassie and Maddy may rekindle their friendship (maybe), and then there’s Jules.
She wants to reconcile with Rue, but given how that final voiceover ended, it’s safe to assume that the fan-favorite couple will never negotiate.
Meanwhile, there is a significant mystery that Euphoria has yet to address directly, which could become a key storyline in season three. Of course, we’re referring to Nate’s secret third brother, who has appeared in a family portrait not once but twice in both seasons.
Fans have been debating the youngest Jacobs brother since the first episode. While some theories are more ridiculous than others—this isn’t Ashtray—the truth behind his disappearance may be precisely the crazy thing this show thrives on.

Young Cal’s covert love for Derek is another character who could significantly impact if he chooses to return in season three. However, given that Cal has been arrested due to the events of the season two finale, that doesn’t appear to be the case.
Although we expect him to appear in prison or courtroom scenes that further explore his downfall, Cal himself may not appear. Sydney Sweeney’s Cassie darkened in season two, and the actress hopes that trend will continue in season three.
Euphoria Season 3 Trailer: Is a Season 3 Trailer Available?
There isn’t currently a trailer for Euphoria Season 3, but there is a teaser that shows the series’ logo with a big three behind it. The teaser was published on all of Euphoria’s official social media accounts when the renewal was revealed.
