Andy Slater of Miami’s Fox Sports 640 claims that the arrest warrant for Prince is for a drug-related crime, although Prince could be facing several different charges.

Baylor University, located in Waco, Texas, is where Prince, born in San Antonio, received his education. The Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center is the facility that took Prince into custody.

In response to the arrest, the Timberwolves released the following statement: “We are aware of the alleged report regarding Taurean Prince and are gathering more information.”

In seven months, Prince was traded from the Brooklyn Nets to the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Minnesota Timberwolves before signing with the Wolves during the offseason of the previous year.
