Andy Cohen stated that Bravo had already begun filming Season 3 before the Season 2 reunion of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City had aired. Cohen told Entertainment Tonight in February 2022, “the reunion left off with the women who stayed in a very dramatic situation where you don’t know what will happen.” “Therefore, I’m thrilled that there are now cameras on them.

The trial of Jen Shah, which was scheduled to begin on March 7, is presumably the reason for the accelerated production schedule. Later, a judge pushed the commencement date to July 11; on that date, Jen, who had maintained her innocence for almost a year, changed her plea to guilty.

The Queens of Bravo Instagram account shared photographs of Angie with the RHOSLC cast and stated that the putative newbie auditioned for the show in 2019 at Heather’s suggestion.

During her Instagram Q&A after initial production for Season 3 concluded in the spring, Whitney advised fans to expect “major dynamic alterations” in the upcoming installment. She described it as startling, energetic, and intense.
Some of the women’s social media posts after the incident appeared to imply that Lisa was at odds with Heather, Jen, Meredith, and Angie Harrington, boosting the likelihood of drama this season.
Will Jen’s Confession Be Heard?
A production source told E! News in July that filming for Season 3 had ceased but restarted after Jen’s guilty plea amendment. Although cameras were not permitted in the courtroom, “production filmed emotional confessions from the women that will undoubtedly be included in Season 3.
This is reflected in the trailer, which depicts Jen leaving the courthouse after entering a guilty plea. However, the source disclosed that cameras were no longer monitoring Jen, who is set to return to New York on November 28 for sentencing.
