RHOSLC Season 3: Will Jen’s Confession Be Heard?
Andy Cohen stated that Bravo had already begun filming Season 3 before the Season 2 reunion of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City had aired. Cohen told Entertainment Tonight in February 2022, “the reunion left off with the women who stayed in a very dramatic situation where you don’t know what will happen.” “Therefore, I’m thrilled that there are now cameras on them.
It has already begun, a lot is happening, and I’m delighted we’re there filming right now. In a circumstance identical to both, we began filming the next season of Beverly Hills immediately after the reunion episode.
The trial of Jen Shah, which was scheduled to begin on March 7, is presumably the reason for the accelerated production schedule. Later, a judge pushed the commencement date to July 11; on that date, Jen, who had maintained her innocence for almost a year, changed her plea to guilty.
Shah admitted to the judge at her Manhattan federal court appearance that she had committed “wire fraud, promising services of little value.” According to the terms of her plea agreement, she must serve 11 to 14 years in jail and pay up to $9.5 million in restitution.
Jen, Heather Gay, and Meredith Marks, who will be an uncommon trio of friends this season, traveled to New York City with Bravo cameras in tow, as evidenced by a number of social media posts, days before the plea agreement. There has also been an abundance of other real-time drama, including the departure of two cast members. Here is everything currently known about Season 3 of RHOSLC.
Date of the Season 3 Premiere of Rhoslc
As is typical for Bravo, RHOSLC’s renewal was not revealed until one month before the following season’s premiere.
RHOSLC’s third season will premiere on Bravo on September 28 at 9 p.m. If prior patterns continue, Peacock will stream new episodes the day after they debut on Bravo.
The Third Rhoslc Trailer
The teaser for Season 3 of RHOSLC, which premiered on E! on August 31st, is hotter than a Utah winter. The new teaser begins with Jen proclaiming, “I’m innocent,” before building to her final confession of guilt. However, current hot topics in Salt Lake City extend beyond Jen’s legal troubles.
While Heather reveals a black eye and quips that “maybe somebody punched her in the face,” as Lisa Barlow put it, Whitney describes the “very abusive environment” she was subjected to. Meredith most shockingly accuses Lisa, her ex-best friend, of conducting “favors” to promote her tequila brand Vida. Lisa asks, “Are you crazy?” Clearly, the SLC Housewives’ friendship remains frosty.
The Cast of Season 3 of Rhoslc
In addition to Jennifer, Heather, and Meredith, Whitney Rose and Lisa Barlow are also RHOSLC grads. According to the Real Housewives Franchise Instagram account, production had been completed and Angie Katsanevas and Danna Bui-Negrete had assumed the final two full-time roles.
E! revealed on August 31 that Heather, Meredith, Lisa, Jen, and Whitney are the only full-time Housewives in Season 3. Angie and Danna will also join the cast as “Friend” characters, as will Lisa’s ex-friend Angie Harrington, who appeared briefly in Season 2.
Radar said in early March that successful salon owner Angie Katsanevas and Utah luxury real estate agent Tysha Edwards were seen filming with the women. The Queens of Bravo Instagram account shared photographs of Angie with the RHOSLC cast and stated that the putative newbie auditioned for the show in 2019 at Heather’s suggestion.
On June 4, prominent Salt Lake City real estate agent Danna posted an Instagram photo of Whitney and Lisa at a neighborhood pride ceremony. I adore you, Dana. So much fun!” exclaimed Lisa.
During her Instagram Q&A after initial production for Season 3 concluded in the spring, Whitney advised fans to expect “major dynamic alterations” in the upcoming installment. She described it as startling, energetic, and intense.
Some of the women’s social media posts after the incident appeared to imply that Lisa was at odds with Heather, Jen, Meredith, and Angie Harrington, boosting the likelihood of drama this season.
Will Jen’s Confession Be Heard?
A production source told E! News in July that filming for Season 3 had ceased but restarted after Jen’s guilty plea amendment. Although cameras were not permitted in the courtroom, “production filmed emotional confessions from the women that will undoubtedly be included in Season 3.
This is reflected in the trailer, which depicts Jen leaving the courthouse after entering a guilty plea. However, the source disclosed that cameras were no longer monitoring Jen, who is set to return to New York on November 28 for sentencing.
Several of Jen’s co-stars were “shocked” and “disappointed” to learn she changed her plea to guilty, according to a separate source. “Jen has maintained her innocence throughout everything,” a source told E! News, adding that several of her co-stars now feel “duped, fooled, and lied to by their pal.”
