DWTS Season 31 Release Date: Casting, Trailer, Where Can I Find It?
It’s almost time for a fresh new season of Dancing With the Stars, one of the most popular reality competition shows on ABC, so get your dancing shoes ready! The reality competition series is currently in its 31st season, and one of the alterations being made is the addition of a new co-host in the ballroom.
The manner in which it is viewed, though, might be the most significant alteration. The long-running series Dancing with the Stars will leave its home on ABC in the autumn and begin streaming live exclusively on Disney+. This will make DWTS the first live show to air on the streaming service.
In addition to this, during the 31st season of Dancing With the Stars, the platform will not include any commercial breaks or advertisements of any kind. Because dancers and crew members often use the breaks to change costumes, stage their performances, and do other tasks, this is a significant departure from the norm for the series.
What kind of elaborate backgrounds will they build up for the dances, and how will they set them up? When are they going to finish sweeping up all of the glitter and confetti that is on the stage? How is Tyra going to find the time to change into all of her several wigs, headpieces, and costumes inspired by mirrorball? We have so many questions.
In order to find out some of the answers, you’ll have to watch the first episode of the new season, but in the meantime, here’s everything else we know about Season 31 so far.
Release Date
The first night of the 31st season will take place on Monday, September 19, 2022.
Casting
This season of Dancing With the Stars will have a fresh face in the role of co-host.
Alfonso Ribeiro, co-winner of Season 19 of “America’s Next Top Model” with professional Witney Carson, will be joining Tyra Banks on the panel of judges alongside the supermodel.
In spite of the fact that the show had always been hosted by a pair of people in the past, Tyra has run the competition all by herself for the past two seasons.
It’s possible that if Tyra had another personality to help share the load, she’d have more time to prepare for interviews at the top of the stairs or keep up with her elaborate wardrobe changes even when commercial breaks weren’t available.
The judges are also returning, and this time around they are joined by gifted Derek Hough, harsh but fair Carrie Ann Inaba, over-the-top Bruno Tonioli, and the mean-mugging Len Goodman. Casting announcements will be made on September 8 with regard to the competitors.
In the upcoming season 31, we cannot wait to find out which new celebrities will be revealing their previously unknown rhythmic talents (or lack thereof).

It’s probably safe to predict that this year’s Disney night will be filled with all kinds of enchantments!
Where Can I Find It?
Live broadcasts of Dancing With the Stars seasons 31 and 32 will be available on Disney+.

The final season of Dancing With the Stars will be available to view on Disney+ without the interruption of commercials beginning in the fall of this year.
In spite of the fact that Disney has just recently stated that it would begin offering a version of the streaming platform that is supported by advertisements beginning on December 8, Dancing with the Stars generally chooses a winner before that date, so this change will not affect Season 31.
Disney has not yet decided whether or not it would continue to stream Season 32 without advertisements or revert to its previous business model.
