Levine and Behati Started Dating in 2012
The beginning of Levine and Prinsloo’s relationship was controversial, as the “She Will Be Loved” singer was dating the model’s friend Anne Vyalitsyna before pursuing Prinsloo.
On the Hawaiian island of Kauai in June 2012, Levine and Prinsloo were photographed kissing at a friend’s pre-wedding celebration. Four months later, in October 2012, they appeared to confirm their relationship by attending the Gentlemen’s Ball hosted by GQ magazine.
“Behati was jokingly pressing her face against the glass,” a spy reported at the time to Page Six. He accompanied her outside to smoke while they were holding hands.
Early in 2013, the Romance Begins to Wane
By February 2013, there were rumors of problems in paradise. At the time, Levine attended the Grammy Awards with his mother, causing many to question why he didn’t bring Prinsloo as his date.
In May of 2013, Levine began dating another model named Nina Agadal. A source told People that the new relationship was “extremely informal.”
They Are Back on and Engaged by Mid-2013
Levine and Prinsloo became engaged in July 2013, indicating that the time they spent apart made them grow closer.
The representative for the “Sunday Morning” singer acknowledged to Page Six at the time that he proposed to his model girlfriend in Los Angeles. They had been dating intermittently for around a year.
Then, sources told Page Six that Agdal learned of Levine’s engagement through text message, adding that the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model was “heartbroken”
2014: Their Wedding Year
A year after becoming engaged, Levine and Prinsloo exchanged their vows.
The wedding took place at Flora Farms in Los Cabos, Mexico, in front of 275 guests, including Robert Downey Jr., Coco Rocha, Candice Swanepoel, and Levine’s bandmates from Maroon 5, Jesse Carmichael and James Valentine.
They’re Expecting a Child in 2016
In March 2016, Levine and Prinsloo revealed they were expecting their first child together. At the time, sources informed Us Weekly that the “Locked Up” singer was “ecstatic” about becoming a first-time father.
The couple then welcomed a daughter named Dusty Rose in September 2016.

2017-2018: They Increase Their Family Size
By releasing a photo of her pregnant belly in a swimsuit in September 2017, Prinsloo announced that they were expanding to a family of four.
Levine returned on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” that November to tell that he and Prinsloo were expecting another girl.
Gio Grace Levine, the couple’s second child, was born in February 2018.
Levine and Prinsloo expect their third child in 2022
In September 2022, it was reported that Levine and Prinsloo were expecting their third child.
The Victoria’s Secret model was recently spotted displaying her burgeoning baby bulge while on vacation with her husband and daughters in Hawaii.
