The Blacklist, on the other hand, will not be among our favorite shows returning to NBC’s primetime lineup now that September has arrived.
The Blacklist has always been part of NBC’s autumn programming calendar, but it will not return in September as part of its fall premiere week schedule.
It will be interesting to note that the season 10 launch will not coincide with the seasons of many other venerable NBC shows, such as The Voice, One Chicago, and the Law & Order franchise.
Season 10 will not start on NBC in September, but it will air eventually; the question is when not if.
When Will the Blacklist Season 10 Episodes Be Aired?
Tom Scutaro, The Blacklist’s site manager, apparently spoke with Westchester County Tourism & Film not long ago, and during that chat, he revealed the following information:
The race has been an enormous success. It isn’t easy to think that all of this began in 2013. Except for the first episode, I’ve been a member of the show since it originally aired. We are thrilled to be back for the tenth season, and production will begin immediately after the Labor Day vacation.
Labor Day is observed on the first Monday of September, which is 2022 will be the fifth Monday. This date corresponded to the start of season nine production last year.
If all goes according to plan, the first episode of The Blacklist’s tenth season might air in October. Most episodes of the show are filmed and then released all at once.
How Many Episodes Will There Be in The Blacklist Season 10?
Because The Blacklist Season 10 begins in the middle of the season, it would be easy to assume that it will be shorter, but I wouldn’t make that assumption just yet. Despite being moved to the midseason, Season 6 still has 22 episodes.
Due to the lack of significant breaks, the show dominated Fridays from January through the end of May, when all other series were wrapping up their seasons.
The fit was snug, but it served its purpose. This show has refined the skill of television production. Season 7 was the only season with fewer episodes than usual, with only 19 episodes. There’s a chance that Season 10 will be similar.

The final episode was only partially live-action and partially animated due to the pandemic, which unexpectedly halted filming. That year, there were fewer episodes of all shows.
The following year, The Blacklist delivered an entire season, while other shows saw their episode numbers decrease. Season 9 follows suit to get a full season in for the final season.
Spoilers for the Blacklist Season 10: When Will Agnes Show Up?
This season of The Blacklist may focus less on Elizabeth Keen, but that doesn’t mean Agnes is forgotten. Liz’s daughter could make an early appearance this season.
In an Instagram photo, NBC casts little girls as soccer players for a future season (see below). Agnes participated in soccer last season and may return. The casting call for 11-13-year-olds makes us wonder if season 10 will entail a time jump.
What is Agnes’ age? The series used time leaps after Tom and Liz died in season 8. Agnes is 11 in “The SPK,” so there isn’t much of a gap in time. Even with the time jumps following Tom’s death and after season 8, her age doesn’t seem right, given that she was born in season 3.
We must keep going. This casting hints that Agnes will appear early in the season, so stay tuned.

Although no one has been officially confirmed, we expect the show’s star and executive producer, James Spader, to reprise his role as Raymond “Red” Reddington; a criminal mastermind turned supergrass analyst. This is even though no one has been officially confirmed to play the part.
Dembe Zuma (Hisham Tawfiq), Harold Cooper (Diego Klattenhoff), and Donald Ressler are three more essential players who could perhaps make a comeback, and we expect their return (Diego Klattenhoff).
