Before the debut of the first season, Season 2 of the Netflix series Fate: The Winx Saga was confirmed in June 2020. On February 18, 2021, Netflix announced the renewal of the series for a second season.
The season has seven episodes. In addition, the cast and crew would reunite later this year to begin filming this season in Ireland. On July 20, 2021, it was reported that three new cast members had been added to the series, which is now being filmed in County Wicklow, Ireland.
Release Date of Fate the Winx Saga Season 2
On June 6, 2022, Netflix Geeked announced that the new season would debut in the fall of 2022. It was confirmed on July 27, 2022, that Season 2 would premiere on September 16, 2022.
Synopsis of Fate the Winx Saga Season 2
Under the strict rule of Alfea’s former Headmistress, Rosalind, classes have resumed. With the Burned Ones gone, Dowling ‘disappearing,’ and Silva imprisoned for treason, Alfea of the previous year has developed new magic, new relationships, and new faces.
However, as fairies begin to vanish during the night, Bloom and her roommates uncover a frightening menace lurking in the shadows. One that must be stopped before it wrecks the entire Otherworld.

Production of Fate the Winx Saga Season 2
Prior to confirmation of a filming start, we heard that production was scheduled to take place between mid-July and November 2021 in Dublin, Ireland.
Filming
On July 20, 2021, we were informed that production has commenced with the new cast members. Again, the second season is being filmed in County Wicklow, Ireland. We are also aware that some filming took place in Avoca, Ireland.
The production proceeded into August 2021, with numerous cast members posting images and videos from the set. According to certain actors’ social media posts, filming finished in Avoca, Ireland, in November 2021.

What is the Plot of the Second Season of Fate: The Winx Saga?
According to the official synopsis for the second season, “school is back in session under the militant control of Alfea’s previous headmistress, Rosalind. With the Burned Ones gone, Dowling ‘disappearing,’ and Silva imprisoned for treason, Alfea of the previous year has developed new magic, new relationships, and new faces.
“However, as fairies begin to vanish during the night, Bloom and her suitemates find a lethal peril lurking in the shadows. One that must be stopped before it wrecks the entire Otherworld.”
What is “The Winx Saga: Fate”?
The Netflix series follows a group of adolescents attending Alfea, a magical boarding school, as they learn to harness their powers and negotiate friendship, rivalry, and romance.
The plot revolves around five fairies who reside in the same dormitory (aka the Winx Suite). Stella (Hannah van der Westhuysen), a second-year student and light fairy whose mother is the queen of a fairy kingdom named Solaria, is the only exception.
Bloom (Abigail Cowen) is the new girl in town who had no idea she was a fire fairy (or even a fairy) until she set her house on fire by accident.
Terra (Eliot Salt), an earth fairy, is familiar with Alfea because her father is a professor at the university. Sam (Jacob Dudman) is dating Musa (Elisha Applebaum), a mind fairy who can sense the emotions of others. Last but not least, Aisha (Precious Mustapha) is a water fairy who enjoys swimming and frequently serves as the group’s voice of reason.
Based on the 2010 Nickelodeon animated series “Winx Club,” the first season of the show consisted of six episodes.
