What is Cyberpunk: Edgerunners’ Plot About?
David, a street kid, is introduced in the first two episodes, setting the tone for the rest of the series. Gloria, his mother, dies in a car accident due to overwork. David, who is miserable and has been bullied, decides to have implants to alter his body.
However, those implants are owned by James Norris, a deranged man, and there are fears that David will follow in his footsteps and go insane. On the other hand, David initially gets to know Lucy and her circle of friends.
They want David to have the implant, but he bargains and offers to pay them back one gig at a time. As David learns the techniques, receives training from Lucy, and gets to know the other gang members while taking out targets, Maine keeps an eye on the team; the show becomes more episodic.
Then, to end the series on a high note, everything comes together nicely during one final operation, divided into two crucial, action-packed episodes.

Is Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Going To Get A Second Season?
As of this writing, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners has not been renewed for a second season. Given what the show is about, that might quickly change if it does well for Netflix.
Before renewing a show, Netflix frequently examines several factors, including how many people start watching it and how many stop. Some television shows, such as Squid Game, Bridgerton, and Irregulars, are quickly canceled or resurrected. Other times, Netflix may take months to decide on a show.
So far, critics have given Cyberpunk: Edgerunners very high ratings and primarily excellent reviews. This also makes the crowd happy, which is always a positive. Given all of this, we don’t think Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will be renewed for a second season.
