Oliver Taylor Hawkins was an American drummer who worked on eight studio albums with the band between 1999 and 2021. Before joining Sylvia in 1997, he was the touring drummer for Sass Jordan, Alanis Morissette, and the progressive experimental band Sylvia.
Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders, a 2004 side project, featured Hawkins on drums and singing. In 2020, he co-founded the supergroup NHC with Dave Navarro and Chris Chaney from Jane’s Addiction, where he also played drums and sang lead. The band released three studio albums between 2006 and 2019.
