Early Years
Andy Cohen was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 2, 1968, to Evelyn and Lou Cohen. Emily Rosenfeld, his sister, is a jewelry designer.
Cohen attended Clayton High School and earned a degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University in 1990. Cohen wrote for the student newspaper “The Daily Free Press” while in college.
TV Vocation
One of his earliest television gigs was as an intern at CBS News, where he worked with Julie Chen. Cohen worked at CBS for a decade. He later became a senior producer for “The Early Show” on CBS. He also contributed to the production of “48 Hours.” Andy left CBS in 2000 to become the vice president of programming for the cable channel Trio.
Five years later, Bravo hired him to help transform the network into the reality juggernaut it is today. Bravo’s Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Development was Andy Cohen. In the summer of 2009, Cohen began hosting the chat show Watch What Happens Live, which aired weeknights at midnight.
He quit in 2013 but continued to anchor “Watch What Happens Life” and maintain a popular BravoTv.com blog. In March 2015, Andy and Anderson Cooper embarked on a nationwide tour of their AC2 stage act. They performed in Boston, Miami Beach, Chicago, and Atlanta throughout their tour. In May of 2017, Cohen presented a reboot of “Love Connection” on Fox. In August 2017, it was renewed for a second season. Later that year, Cohen succeeded Kathy Griffin as co-host of CNN’s New Year’s Eve broadcast alongside Anderson Cooper. Cohen has portrayed himself in two different television series: “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” and “Riverdale.”

Andy Cohen Portfolio of Real Estate
Andy made his first investment in real estate in 2003 when he paid an undisclosed amount for a flat in a West Village building located at 2 Horatio Street.
Eventually, he acquired three additional units in the same building and was able to connect them into a single, contiguous property.
The West Village condo is likely valued between $6 and $8 million now. Andy acquired a half-acre oceanfront site (125 feet of ocean frontage) in the Hamptons neighborhood of Amagansett for $5.4 million in March 2019. The asking price for the property had been $6 million and at one point $7.3 million.
