Dragon Age: Absolution Netflix’s Release Date, Cast, and How Many Episodes?
Netflix is working with Bioware on an anime series based on the world of the renowned video game titled Dragon Age. Six episodes of Dragon Age: Absolution will be available on Netflix in December 2022.
Dragon Age: Absolution is the third animated series in the franchise; following Warden’s Fall (2010) and Redemption (2011), it will be the longest Dragon Age animated series to date.
The show’s announcement comes as fans eagerly await the next game in the series, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. The future RPG has been in development for years and has made strange appearances at various gaming events; nevertheless, it has yet to appear on the E3 2022 program. Even the official title was revealed a few weeks ago.
Dragon Age: Absolution Netflix Release Date
Dragon Age: Absolution has not yet been given a set release date by Netflix. However, we can confirm that the series will debut in December 2022.
We’ve learned that the series is now targeting a December 9, 2022, launch on Netflix.
Dragon Age: Absolution Cast
The cast has yet to be revealed, but we should know more shortly. While no characters have been disclosed and we don’t know where the program takes place in the Dragon Age timeline, Netflix has confirmed that it takes place in the Tevinter Imperium, which is also the setting for the upcoming game, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.
The showrunner is Mairghread Scott, who has written for shows ranging from Guardians of the Galaxy to Star Wars Resistance. Scott also contributes to the upcoming Magic: The Gathering Netflix series.
The show is produced by Red Dog Culture House, a South Korean animation firm that previously worked with Netflix on The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf and the Good Hunting episode of Love, Death & Robots.
Dragon Age: Absolution Story
We know very little about Dragon Age: Absolution’s plot at the present, but we do know where it will take place.
The Tevinter Imperium will emerge on the screen for the first time in Dragon Age history. Because it has only been mentioned by name in computer games, many Dragon Age fans will be thrilled to see the Tevinter Imperium for the first time.
The series “includes an ensemble of new characters inspired by Dragon Age history,” according to Netflix, including “elves, wizards, knights, Qunari, Red Templars, demons, and other intriguing surprises.”
