Inside Job Part 2 Release Date: Lizzy Caplan and Adam Scott Reunite in a New Clip From Inside Job: Part 2!
Inside Job is an American animated science fiction workplace comedy show for adults that started on Netflix on October 22, 2021. It was made by Shion Takeuchi. Takeuchi, who used to write for Gravity Falls, is the showrunner and is an executive producer, along with Gravity Falls creator Alex Hirsch and BoJack Horseman director Mike Hollingsworth.
Critics gave the show mostly good reviews. They liked the animation, voice acting, and social commentary. On November 18, 2022, the second part of the first season will start. In June 2022, the show was given a second season.
Inside Job Part 2 Renewal Status
When Netflix first bought Inside Job, it was confirmed that the show would have at least 20 episodes. So, even though we said “renewed,” you could think of Parts 1 and 2 as the first season. Part 1 just came out, and Part 2 won’t be out until later.
Early signs indicate that Inside Job will get a second season. This is because the show has already made an impact on the top ten lists all over the world. As of October 26th, Inside Job was one of the top ten movies in 36 countries around the world, including the United States.
Release Date of Inside Job Part 2
On November 18, the next batch of episodes will be available on Netflix. Part 2 of Inside Job’s first season will have eight 30-minute episodes. Earlier this year, during Geeked Week, Netflix also picked up the half-hour comedy for a second season.
We don’t know much about the new episodes yet, except that Scott’s character, Ron Staedtler, will play a big part. Even though he works for a company that competes with Cognito’s, Staedtler might end up being Reagan’s best friend.
What Could Be the Plot of Inside Job Part 2?
In the second season of Inside Job, Reagan will be angry and maybe even want to get even. After getting ready to be CEO of Cognito Inc. and finally talking to her father about how he messed with her life as a child, Reagen was ready to take Cognito in a good new direction. But her victory didn’t last long because she found out that the Shadow Board had put her father back in charge of the company.
Reagen had basically turned her back on her father and sent him away to Cognito, but now that he is her boss, she will have to see him every day. But this does give Reagen the chance to get her father fired, just like he did years ago when he almost revealed the existence of the “deep state.”
If Reagan is willing to throw her father under the bus for her career, the Shadow Board might take her seriously as a CEO. Reagen could also follow in her father’s footsteps and try to tell the world about the deep state.
Who is in the Cast of Season 2 of Inside Job?
If you didn’t already know, Inside Job has a very impressive cast. Even though we don’t know for sure that they’ll all be back for season 2, we’re pretty sure they will for now. Here’s a list of who we know will be back:
- Reagan Ridley is played by Lizzy Caplan
- Rand Ridley is played by Christian Slater
- Clark Duke as Brett Hand
- Gigi played by Tisha Campbell
- Magic Myc, played by Brett Gelman
- Andy Daly played J.R. Scheimpough
- John DiMaggio as Glenn Dolphman
- Bobby Lee plays Dr. Andrew.
- Robotus is played by Chris Diamantopoulous.
And based on the first look trailer, we know for sure that at least Lizzy, Christian, and Clark will be back. Shion Takeuchi and Alex Hirsch, who made the show, have also been known to voice other characters. For example, Alex has done the voices of Justin Timberlake and Paul Rudd, and they may not be done yet.
Trailer for Inside Job Season 2
When Netflix announced that there would be a second season of Inside Job, it made sure to do so at the same time as the first look teaser trailer. There’s a three-minute clip that gives us a sneak peek at what to expect in season 2. We’ll talk more about this in our next plot theory.
Where Can I Watch Inside Job Part 2?
All ten episodes of the first season of Inside Job can be watched on Netflix. And, as we said before, so can other great adult animated comedies on Netflix, like Big Mouth and Human Resources, which is a spin-off of Big Mouth. Netflix has recently picked up both of these shows again.
