Yes! On August 30, Netflix released the lineup for its upcoming fall 2022 film season, which featured Scrooge: A Christmas Carol. On Friday, December 2, 2022, it was confirmed that the Christmas movie would be available on Netflix. But beginning on November 18, it will first be made available in a few cinemas.

Will the Original Storyline Undergo Significant Changes?
According to the original tale, Ebenezer Scrooge, the grumpy man who receives visits from several incarnations of himself on Christmas Eve, will be the main character of the Netflix adaption.
The catch, Scrooge, is that A Christmas Carol will be turned into a musical. Leslie Bricusse, a late Grammy and Academy Award winner who wrote the music for iconic films including Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Superman, will contribute songs to it.

The Music in Scrooge: a Christmas Carol
Scrooge: A Christmas Carol will be the name of the new adaptation. The animated film also has a story that is set to music. The pieces emphasizing the trait are noteworthy. The updated version will incorporate works by Leslie Bricusse. This is noteworthy because Bricusse was a dominant figure in the film industry.
It’s interesting to note that Bricusse is credited with writing the 1970 musical adaptation of A Christmas Carol called Scrooge, which served as the inspiration for this adaption. However, Bricusse’s filmography speaks for itself for those who aren’t familiar with his earlier work.
