Noblesse is a webtoon version of a South Korean comic book called manhwa. It was written by Son Je-ho and drawn by Lee Kwangsu. Noblesse started in December 2007 on Naver Corporation’s webtoon platform Naver Webtoon and ended in January 2019. It was one of the first webtoons to get an official English translation when Line Webtoon started in July 2014.
It was turned into an aeni in 2015 and an original net animation (ONA) in 2016. Production I.G also made an anime TV series that aired on Crunchyroll from October to December 2020.

What is Noblesse All About?
In Noblesse, the main character is a powerful nobleman named Cadis Etrama Di Raizel, who goes by the name Rai. He has been sleeping for 820 years and has no idea how far people have come or what scientific discoveries have been made. At the beginning of the webcomic, Rai wakes up in an empty building in South Korea and has to learn how to live in the modern world.
He goes to school, where he meets up with Frankenstein, his loyal servant. With the help of Frankenstein, Rai goes to high school and ends up making friends with Shinwoo, Ikhan, Shinwoo’s crush Yuna, and a few other people. In Noblesse, the group’s dangerous adventures against a secret group and the search for Rai’s past are shown.
