The Silent Sea Season 1 Ending Explained
So, what exactly occurs at the end of the first season? The final episode of “The Silent Sea” closes with a rescue ship arriving with the intention of returning to Earth, but nothing else is known for definite, including the health and overall situation of Song, Dr. Hong Ga-young (Kim Sun-young), and Luna (Kim Si-a).
Everyone else on the trip is killed in some fashion, leaving only the two physicians and the infant alive. Even Han, who appears to be on the verge of death, gives up his life in the closing minutes so that the others can escape with Luna.
