Denzel Washington‘s character, Robert McCall, is shown working for Lyft, an American taxi service. McCall enlists the assistance of his long-time friend Susan Plummer to assist youth and the general public in overcoming life’s challenges, and he also adopts a young boy named Miles.

As the story progresses, McCall‘s friend Susan is assassinated after being called to investigate a murder. Susan goes to the investigation site with her partner Dave Yorker, who is subsequently revealed to be the film’s main villain.

McCall takes it upon himself to discover the truth about Susan’s death, putting his ward Miles’ life in danger. Miles is kidnapped by the assassins near the end, and Robert McCall, in his Equalizer glory, saves him.

He stabs Dave, who dies as a result. The film concludes with McCall reuniting with his long-lost sister thanks to Susan’s information.

The Plot: What Could Be Expect From the Equalizer 3?

There have been no precise storyline details disclosed for The Equalizer 3. The Equalizer films are, by definition, episodic, with each new instalment introducing a new case for McCall to solve.

As a result, predicting the film’s plot at this early stage of development is nearly impossible. That being said, we can probably assume McCall will be working to help someone less fortunate than himself, most likely with the liberal use of violence.

We also know that Fuqua stated in 2018 that he’d like to take McCall outside of the United States and into Europe if he could, so perhaps we’ll see more globetrotting in the next chapter of The Equalizer.
