While Kanye publicly expressed his desire to win back his ex-wife on several occasions, the rapper was unsuccessful, and The Kardashians star was declared legally single by a judge in March 2022.

Kim and Kanye both started dating new people after their divorce. During her nine-month relationship with Pete Davidson, Kardashian was linked to Irina Shayk, Julia Fox, and Chaney Jones.

What Has Kim Kardashian Said About Her Divorce?

Kim spoke out earlier this year about her choice to divorce West and how she considered prioritizing her own happiness following the divorce. She stated, “For a long time, I did things that made other people happy.

And I guess I’ve resolved in the last two years that I’m going to make myself happy. And it feels fantastic. Even if it resulted in changes and my divorce, I believe it is vital to be honest with yourself about what truly makes you happy. I choose myself. I believe it is OK to select you.”

Kanye’s Criticisms About Kim’s Parenting

Kanye has publicly stated his disdain for Kim‘s upbringing of their children on multiple occasions. One of his first outbursts was when their oldest daughter, North West, went viral on TikTok. The rapper also accused Kim and her family of “kidnapping” their daughter Chicago West’s birthday party and failing to invite him.

“You are lying and are liars, yall practically abducted Chicago on her birthday so she could remember her father not being there,” the rapper stated in a now-deleted social media outburst. Kanye wrote this statement in reaction to Khloe, who accused him of “tearing down” her sister.

Khloe stated, “Please STOP dragging Kimberly down and taking advantage of our family. You always know where your children are, and YOU wanted separate birthdays. I’ve seen all of the texts to back it up. And when you changed your mind and decided to come, you did.”
