The Storyline of Lego Masters

Will Arnett’s performance on the show could be made better if they toned it down; in fact, if he were less flamboyant and more focused on doing his job well, I’d give it a ten.

The judges are both excellent people who maintain a low profile. Although I am aware that Will was chosen for this role because he provided the voice of Batman in the Lego film series, I kindly request that he not use that voice or any other theatrical flourishes.

The number of Lego masters from various regions of the United States is astounding, and this exhibition offers a fascinating look at them all. I find it incredible that they are able to make so much money because I had no idea that there was a real community of Lego builders.

That Will should be told to calm down because he is neither funny nor cool is commendable.

American reality competition series Lego Masters’ third season premiered on September 21, 2022, on Fox. This season’s judges are Jamie Hyneman and Jonny Pangia, with Will Arnett serving as the host.

Lego Masters (US) Season 3 Review

Outstanding performance. Given that it combines two of my favourite things—Legos and competitive television—this is essentially my ideal reality show.

Lego was chosen for its own competition show, which seems odd given the company’s current prominence—or lack thereof—but I suppose this is just the start of a new genre of reality competition television.

Maybe they just have an obsession with Legos. But I’m not going to moan about it. The programme may be primarily targeted at male viewers based on some of the design decisions, such as the use of darker colours and “mancave”-Esque decor.

Even so, I don’t mind at all because LM stands out from the competition because not many competition shows use this strategy. I think Will Arnett’s brand of humour is clever and very enjoyable.

I would have given it a perfect score, but there wasn’t quite enough Lego construction displayed. While everyone receives sufficient screen time, the Lego characters themselves might benefit from more.
