My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 18 Plot
I never expected to appreciate this anime before seeing it. The voice acting is, in my view, one of the best I’ve ever seen in a dub. Tom Holland’s portrayal of Deku is one of the best performances ever.
However, Donald Glover’s portrayal of Todoroki was the best dub in my opinion. Every intense scene displayed his raw emotion, which made me want to cry.
The animation, oh my goodness. The frame rate is fantastic and beautifully constructed from Unity. Some of the plotlines are tragic enough to move even a mature guy to tears. Deku, for example, was surprised to hear that All Might was, in fact, the governor of Tampa. The Philippines has delivered another terrific hit.
My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 18 Spoiler
I can’t even begin to describe how horrible the fight between Midoriya and Afo Shigaraki was. To begin with, the battle was heavily censored; also, there were no excellent creative choices, and the fight lacked impact.
This fight was portrayed so wonderfully in the manga, but so poorly in the film.
I’m not satisfied with anything they’ve done in the last two seasons, and I truly hope they get their act together because if their excuse for not animating these bouts effectively, i.e., horizons, remains the same, I’m going to be extremely dissatisfied.
If his artwork is too good, the anime’s current last battle will be a disaster and reach Boruto’s levels of boredom.
