Love Island’ Star Callum Macleod and His Wife Jade Announce They Are Expecting Their First Child

Before they were married, he and his wife Jade had been leading a quiet life in a tiny Welsh town, and they had known for some time that they intended to raise their kids there.
That dream is now a reality. A year after getting married, the couple revealed on Instagram that they were expecting their first child, and they couldn’t be more excited about this new phase of their lives.

The globe was thrilled to hear Callum Macleod and his wife Jade’s amazing news—they are expecting their first child. The pair shared the news on Instagram together, sharing many photos of themselves clutching the sonogram images.
In the last photo, the two of them were holding up the positive pregnancy test, and Jade was seen hugging her belly and grinning broadly.
They captioned the photo, saying, “The best things in life are THREE.”
The pair tied the knot in June 2023 after becoming engaged in 2022. When they moved to Callum’s native Wales in 2022, they jointly purchased a property. Shortly afterward, over a romantic picnic in The Vale of Glamorgan at nightfall, Callum proposed on one knee.
In 2023, Callum stated to Wales Online, “We’ve been living together in this house for six months now and we love it.”
They were considering the type of home they wanted to raise their family in even before they became pregnant.
“The house has four bedrooms, and even though we are the only ones living here right now, we kind of thought we would have it forever because we love the layout and it was really well-thought-out logistically, so we grabbed it when we could.”
Callum and Jade Just Want to Live a Normal Life
Even though Callum Macleod joined Love Island in 2019, he had never planned to be famous. He had fun on the show for a short time, but he always wanted a normal life, and Jade agreed with him. One reason they went from London to Wales was because of that.
“Everyone knows one another and enjoys chatting,” he said about Bridgend, the city the couple moved to, which is very close to his hometown. “I have nothing against life in London, but I love how slow and relaxed it is here. I really enjoy it, and I don’t think I could live anywhere else.”
Currently, Callum is employed as an aircraft engineer and is thankful that he and Jade can raise their family in relative normalcy.
“I didn’t go on Love Island to change my life or make money from it.” ‘I was always going to go back to my work, which I love,’ he said.
“I go to the gym every day, get up every morning for work, and spend the weekends with my partner. That’s just how my life is,” she said. I like keeping things normal and easy, so I was a little nervous about going on the show because I didn’t want to lose that.
Callum always dreamed of living a life like this, even though Love Island was a lot of fun. Being a loving husband and father, keeping the house clean and quiet, and enjoying the peace and quiet of a small town.
