Kyle Richards Had to Be ‘Calmed Down’ After Seeing Photos of Mauricio Umansky Kissing Another Woman
Kyle Richards made an announcement in 2023 about her separation from husband Mauricio Umansky, but it seems that she was still disturbed when images of him kissing another lady at an airport in Greece just appeared.
Although the two were regarded as having one of the more stable relationships in the reality TV industry, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and her husband of 27 years caused a stir when they announced their separation in July of 2023.
Fans even went so far as to accuse them of manipulating the divide to boost ratings.
But after pictures of the two cuddling and kissing at the Mykonos, Greece, airport appeared, it seems that Mauricio is moving on with a blonde woman.
It should come as no surprise that Mauricio is moving on after more than a year apart, but it seems like Kyle found the pictures more difficult to handle. Kathy Hilton, her sister, at least, says as much.
Kathy Hilton Said the Pictures Were a “Tough Pill to Swallow”
An interview with Kathy from Sutton Green Label, the fashion show hosted by Sutton Stracke in Los Angeles, was featured on Page Six’s TikTok.
Kathy said to the reporter, “I think it was a hard pill to swallow, seeing it.” Thus, my goal is to gently reassure her since, let’s face it, this will inevitably happen. You two have been split up. You know, you’ve stated that you and him are free to do as they like. This woman was the one who rushed to kiss him, as you may recall.
Kathy said that it hurt to see the pictures when she was questioned further about them.
“Well, I knew we would ultimately see something, but that still stings, naturally. Still, things are as they are. And if he wants to, he can kiss or go on dates,” she clarified.
Kathy responded, “I’ve said, you need to get out there,” when asked if she had given her sister advice on how to resume dating.
The lady kissing Mauricio was recognized by Page Six as actress and model Nikita Kahn.
Kathy Supports Her Sister During Their Divorce
At Sutton’s event, Kathy also told People magazine that her sister is “hanging in there.”
“Kyle is persevering.” It won’t be the last, I promised. There will be an abundance of them. She seems OK to me. I believe that the girls’ reactions will be more important.”
Alexia, Sophia, and Portia are the three daughters that Kyle and Mauricio had together. Additionally, Kyle’s daughter Farrah Aldjufrie comes from a previous union.
The four daughters of the couple have all been in reality shows hosted by their parents, such as Buying Beverly Hills on Netflix and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo.
Speculation Arose From Kyle Richards’s Close Friendship With Morgan Wade
Photos of her ex with someone else have troubled Kyle in the past as well. Mauricio was seen cuddling up to his Dancing With The Stars partner, Emma Slater, in October of 2023. In response to the images, Kyle said she was “taken aback” to see them in an appearance on Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen.
“That was very hard to see… That hurt my feelings.”
However, the actress of Buying Beverly Hills isn’t the only one generating news with her transgressions. Fans speculated about Kyle’s actual friendship with country singer Morgan Wade throughout her breakup because of their strong friendship, which fueled the flames.
Before the split was made public, the two were seen cuddling up in a number of places, and this behavior persisted in the months that followed.
Despite giving the impression of having soured recently, the Daily Mail revealed that Kyle and Morgan were in Minnesota as recently as last week, where they were there to support Morgan at a St. Paul show.
To be clear, Kyle and Morgan have only ever described their friendship as being between good friends.
