Christina Hall Accuses Her Ex-husband Josh of Stealing From Her Throughout Their Split
Fans shouldn’t assume that just because Christina Hall and her ex-husband Josh Hall have been silent about their divorce, all is well between them. The couple, who were wed for three years before divorcing a few days ago, is reportedly experiencing arguments about money these days.
In recently released court filings, the Christina on the Coast actress claimed that her ex-husband had lied to her about having her approval in order to transfer money that was completely hers to his personal accounts just before their divorce. She cautioned that as a result, she would be closely monitoring how their finances were managed during their marriage.
Christina Hall Accuses Her Ex-partner of Stealing $35,000
Entertainment Tonight has obtained court documents from Christina Hall revealing escalating tensions in her separation from Josh Hall. The HGTV star is demanding that her soon-to-be ex-husband return $35,000 he allegedly transferred from her rental income into his account.
In the documents, Christina claims, “Josh managed to move over $35,000 of my separate property rental income into his account.”
She requests that Josh account for and return these funds, which she states are needed to cover loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for her rental properties.
Christina also included a screenshot in her filing showing a text from Josh to her property manager, indicating that both wanted the funds transferred to a different account—presumably his own.
Christina asserts that she did not approve Josh’s request to the property manager, as she “had no personal contact with Josh on July 8, 2024,” and “would not have asked him to transfer my money the day after informing him of our divorce.”
She clarified that she had allowed the transfer only under the mistaken belief that she had authorized the change, as Josh had provided his Wells Fargo Bank account details.
Christina Hall Refuses To Provide Spousal Support
Christina Hall appears to be bracing herself for the possibility that Josh Hall might seek spousal support, and she has indicated in her court documents that she is not willing to offer him a substantial amount.
“In anticipation of the court possibly ordering me to provide some spousal support to Josh and cover reasonable attorney’s fees for his lawyer,” she preemptively noted, “I believe this case is straightforward with uncomplicated accounting over a brief period, so any associated fees and costs should be minimal.”
“Josh has his own income, so he shouldn’t need any spousal support from me,” she continued. “He has enough assets to cover his own attorney’s fees and expenses. I’m honestly shocked and worried that he transferred over $35,000 of my separate property to his separate account on July 8, 2024.”
The reality TV star also announced that, due to this significant amount of money she believes was taken from her, she will be undergoing a full forensic accounting for the entire duration of their marriage.
What fans initially saw as an amicable divorce has now shifted, but Christina Hall is determined to fight for what she believes is fair.
