Moreover, while thanking for this huge honour, the tar took this opportunity to talk about the importance of inclusion in storytelling ranks and urging everyone to expand their tents so that each and every one of us rises and everyone’s story has a chance to be seen and heard by others. The Actress Stressed Over The Importance Of More Inclusion In The Storytelling Ranks
While the speech was nothing less than inspiring, the star further talked about how the panel still needs to include more Black members and women in these nominations. Talking more and more about how stories can change people, she called out for representation.
The star took this opportunity to mention some works that have inspired her lately which includes Nomadland, Judas and the Black Messiah and Minari. These works were all about strong representation, soul- touching stories and more. Jane Fonda looked dapper in her formal yet stylish attire in all white and fans could help but marvel over how perfect the speech was that managed to garb all the attention.
