Grey anatomy’s season 17 premiere gave fans a shocker with the return of Derek Shepard Patrick Dempsey. All he did was a smile and a wave, but that bare minimum shouldn’t have happened as the last fans saw in the show was his life support being removed after the brutal car accident.

Although a shocker, the fans are wholly welcoming Patrick with open arms seeing forward some interesting twists and turns, and Meredith is once again away from one mistake and one medical complication from death.

While Ellen Pompeo’s presence might have been in a blur but Kerry Burke made it clear that ellen and Shonda Rhymes have it in their hand to come back to the show or not.

What is the cast for the show?

According to the sources, all the lead cast is set to return on the show Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.), Dr Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson), Dr Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone), Dr Maggie Pierce (Kelly McCreary), Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti), Dr Jo Karev (Camilla Luddington, Dr Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams), and Dr Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd).

Grey’s Anatomy is not in the end, which is clear because Kim, Kevin, and Camilla have signed a three-year contract with them recently. Everything is as it should be, promising and coinciding with the audiences and fans feeling just that the fact the ellen had recently expressed that she believes in being till the end of the show but she also told everyone that this could be the year.

Even on Late Night with James Corden’s last episode the previous year she said that lately, she has been throwing away ideas on Shonda and Krista about the finale of the series, the ending episode, or season but also quickly covered it all up by saying that she isn’t really the one who is responsible to give out ideas and if they go by her they’ll have to give it away.
