“The Night of” is an American crime drama based series. It was released in 2016 and has 8 episodes in total. It is based on Criminal Justice by Peter Moffat. The series was nominated for 13 Emmy’s awards and out of that it managed to win 5 auctions.

Will there be season 2 of “The Night Of”

For now, there is no as such an official statement which confirms that there will be season 2 of the series. However, makers of “The Night Of” thinks that it is not a bad idea to proceed with the second season.

During TCAs in 2018, HBO programming president Casey Bloys revealed that creators of “The Night Of” are up to something. He said that season 2 of “The Night Of” is possible. At that time, he said that they have couple of ideas but for that we have to sit and plan more.

He also said that Steve is not going to proceed with season 2 until he is ready. He also compared Steve to Larry who also does not release shows until he is completely comfortable.Bloys further added that a person like Steve when says that he is ready, then Bloys is sure that he is ready. Steve is a person of is words according to Bloys.

Team of “The Night of” season 2

The series stars John Turturro, Riz Ahmed, Bill Camp, Payman Maadi, Poorna Jagannathan, Sofia Black-D’Elia, Afton Williamson, Ben Shenkman, Jeannie Berlin, Paul Sparks, Ned Eisenberg, Nabil Elouahabi, Michael Kenneth Williams and Glenne Headly. It is created by Richard Price and Steven Zaillian. The duo also wrote the plot of the series. Steven and James directed it together. Moreover, Steven also produced the series executively along with five other executive producers.
