HBO and HBO Max Content Chief Casey: Bloys Has Signed a New Five-year Deal

Casey Bloys, the chief content officer for HBO and HBO Max, has been verified to have extended his five-year contract by the publication Variety.

Bloys renewed his arrangement with the WarnerMedia brands, now owned and operated by Warner Bros. Discovery, which was just founded.

Around the same time, he hired his new boss, WBD CEO David Zaslav, who had received a combined total of 140 Emmy nominations for his work on HBO and Max programs.

The decision to re-sign Bloys comes when Warner Bros. Discovery is looking for ways to decrease costs.
