Hardy is the younger brother of Matt Hardy, who was born in North Carolina, United States of America, on August 31, 1977. His mother went away from brain cancer 10 years after his birth.
At the age of 12, he obtained his first motocross bike, a Yamaha YZ-80, due to his love of the sport.
