Their similarities were on full exhibit during one of Queen Elizabeth‘s visits to Anmer Hall, such as the fact that both she and Kate Middleton place a high emphasis on discretion, devotion, and duty. However, the pair’s differences were also on full display.
Although it is located on the Queen’s estate in Norfolk, Kate and Prince William‘s country home, which they moved into in 2015 after a major renovation, is an unpretentious one.
For example, Kate has been known to come to the door with the children while one of her lasagnas is baking in the oven. The home was completely renovated in 2015.
However, it is quite improbable that the Queen will ever eat in any kitchen where other people are present!
According to Sally Bedell Smith, author of Elizabeth the Queen: The Life of a Modern Monarch, who was interviewed for this week’s cover story in PEOPLE magazine, “I remember when they had just finished refurbishing Anmer Hall, and they had the Queen here for lunch.”
“They have one of those large kitchens with eating spaces, and she said, ‘I can’t understand why everybody spends their time in the kitchen.'” “They have one of those large kitchens with eating areas.”
Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Princess Charlotte Attend the Commonwealth Games
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made their long-awaited debut at the Commonwealth Games.
This afternoon, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William made their way to the athletic event, and they brought their small daughter, Princess Charlotte, with them.
The young girl, who was seven years old, initially sat on the stands close to her mother, and then between her mother and father at one time. She was very gorgeous in a dress that was striped in navy and white and had a white peasant collar.
She wore it with strappy white sandals and had her hair braided with navy ties to hold it all together.
Kate wore an all-white outfit to complement the style that her daughter was going for. The sophisticated getup included a fitting blouse, a structured blazer that was worn over it, fitted pants, and a belt that had a silver buckle.
She completed her look by wearing beige and black slingback flats, round silver earrings, and a necklace that matched the earrings.
William wore a traditional navy suit jacket with beige buttons, a sky blue dress shirt, beige slacks, and brown shoes to match his daughter’s ensemble. A silver watch was the sole piece of jewelry he wore.
During the ceremonies for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, Charlotte was observed enjoying the sporting competition and making hilarious faces along the way, somewhat similar to how her younger brother Louis acted during the festivities.
